A typical day at our home in Myanmar starts as the children awake for breakfast and then they spend time preparing for their day at school. Our children in Myanmar also wear uniforms to school and have started doing really well in school. They walk to school with the help of the staff at our home. While they are away, the staff prepares their meals and does some cleaning. As the children arrive home, they work on their homework and then have time to play before dinner. A typical dinner is rice and vegetables along with some meat several times a week. They have a time of prayer together before they head off to bed.
