The typical day at our home in Nepal starts with Morning Prayer time that lasts about 30 minutes. The children then get a breakfast of toast and Chai Tea. After breakfast, the children clean up, get ready for school and do any last minute homework. They then walk about 10 minutes to their school, stopping at a kiosk to buy some snacks to take with them. The children will spent all day at school till about 4 PM and then head home. Once they change out of their uniforms, they get some play time until their tutor arrives to help them with their home work. Dinner is served and is usually a plate of rice and vegetables with something to drink. As the end of the day draw near, they prepare for bed and one more time of prayer together before lights out for the night.
